We want to stay in touch with you and the community. Whether you're an area resident, run a local business, or belong to a local community or school-based committee or coalition, you can find out more about what's happening locally at CAMH here.
2024 kicks off the fourth and final stage of our historic redevelopment! We will be sharing bi-weekly updates on this page and through our community mailing list.
This page is curated for matters that may be of interest to the local community.
You will see a section specifically for construction/redevelopment – when projects are active this page will be updated weekly for a more detailed overview of the activities on site.
Please join our local community email list by emailing [email protected]. This is a dedicated email for the local community only. We use this sparingly and for situations such as an event on campus that may be of interest (such as the 2019 Pow Wow, where drumming or music might be heard by our nearest neighbours); and for when construction could impact the community – such as a temporary road closure. Your email will never be visible to others or shared.
Update on City of Toronto Signage Application for Research & Discovery Centre
A signage package is going to the City of Toronto for review for our new Research & Discovery Centre as part of our final phase of redevelopment. Some of you may have received a notice in the mail. Click here to learn more about the details.
Community Events:
This year we were thrilled to welcome our community back to our campus for in-person tours and events. We hosted over 20 events and saw over 4,000 attendees come join us! We’d like to thank our partners from all of our community events for their support. At all of our events, the CAMH info table was fully staffed and we hope we were able to answer any questions you had! We hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and we look forward to hosting you next year for even more fabulous in-person initiatives at CAMH!
Announcing 2024 Community Events: We are very excited to welcome our local community back to outdoor events this season. Our vision is to foster an inclusive and welcoming campus for patients, family, staff and the community. Hosting events that welcome everyone on campus is one of the ways we do that. Our 2023 events hosted over 4,000 people to our site for a range of fun activities and experiences.
